Stephen commenced his Career in the 1970’s as a Cinecamerman for the ABC News before taking on stills photography using Medium and small format film cameras in he 1980’s. During that time he has been invited to photograph close to 1000 local weddings and several others at Brisbane, Barcaldine, Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Biloela and Tambo.

With the arrival of Digital Imaging,  Stephen moved from all film use to full digital in 2010. This change has also mirrored the changes in Weddings which have gone from the Churches into the Landscape, from very formal to a more informal and relaxed style. This change is reflected in Stephens photography style which is "beautiful photographs naturally".

Stephen is a local "on the spot" professional photographer who comes from a disciplined trade background and understands the needs and requirements for images made on the job. His Industrial and Commercial experience in the past give him the edge when ‘on site’ or involved with a commercial project as he generally can be proactive in seeking out the results required by the client often working independently to gain wonderful results.

Now with over 30 years experience ( full time) on the ground and in the air this has taught him how to select the best approach for photography at particular sites and how to get best results and achieve those repeatedly over time.

Customers can be confident that when Stephen is on the job, it will be done with reliability and confidence to achieve the very best results. In 2016 Stephen was 'Knighted' for service to HRH Prince Leonard from the Principality of Hutt River in the photographic industry and for his Communty Service work.

Regretfully, due to a recurring medical issue Stephen has had to wind down his business and rarely takes on new work. To keep busy he formed the Cub Club of Australia in 2014 and keeps busy running this organisation as its National Convenor. Stephen is still involved in the community through Rotary, Shelterbox, and a number of other interests.
